Last Minute Trips and a Silver G6.

So, it's pretty random, but I'm in Vancouver right now. It was a sort of impulsive, last minute trip dealy that me and my mom decided we wanted to do. We booked the flight about 2 days before the actual departure, which I've never done before. It's pretty exciting, all in all. We're staying at the art studio thing that has workshops and a family of deer in the backyard, or something. So far, we've rented a nice little G6, have played the hell out of David Gray and Corb Lund, gotten lost, and eaten one of the best meals outside of my Grandmother's house.
Go Spring Break!

Society = Pure Fail

I just read an article in the Herald that goes as follows:

I know this is probably one of those nonsensical posts that nobody reads because it's too long and ranty, but I just felt the need to vent.
Um, carry on, SAVE THE PLANET, etc.

Penelope: Delightful Amounts of James McAvoy and Sarcastic One-Eyed Dwarfs.

I saw Penelope yesterday; as far as adorable movies go, this one was a chart topper.

On a completely unrelated note, I am now officially a fan of Firefly. And yes, Mandi, I am aware that Alex Lyon watches that show and is all kinds of creepy about it. (He's admitted to reading fanfiction about it - what guy reads fanfiction?!). But Alan Tudyk is delightful and Nathan Fillion is smarmy without being an ass about it. So, WIN.

(no subject)

So. Friday. 'Twas basically the best time I've had in a while, and that includes the time I stayed home and watched TV all day long, without even the excuse of being sick.

Um, hi Mandi.

Since I'm pretty sure you're the only one reading this at the moment, here is my offical first Eljay post.
